The answer can be fairly straightforward if you can list down the stakeholders. 1. Aegon (as a Group) & Scottish Equitable: Systems used can be plenty viz. Common processes, sales, customer service team. Co-branding would help. 2. Aegon & Customers of Scottish Equitable: Communication tools like adverts, information brochures, sponsoring events, re-branding to gain customers' attention etc. Technologically, there could be Technology sharing etc. The moment you start identifying stakeholders, things become logical and answers obvious. Note: My answer below might not be accurate but can be used as a guideline.
