A Classical Example of Time Management

There was this genius who used to work for 20 hours of working hours straight (workoholic), then sleep for 8 hours (he needed his beauty sleep ;) his sleeping hours) and then work for 20 hours again. This cycle used to continue. Despite the schedule he used to reach his office every monday morning at 9:00 AM.

Why did he do that? Must be a crazy guy… ;) but as i said earlier…he was a genius and all genius people are crazy… :D

Let us examine first What he did and then we shall check Why?

He started his week at 8:00 AM on Monday and worked for 20 hours straight till 4:00 AM on Tuesday. He then slept for 8 hours till 12:00 PM on Tuesday.

Then again work till 8:00 AM (Wednesday) and sleep till 4:00 PM. Work till 12:00 PM (Thursday) and sleep till 8:00 PM. Work till 4:00 PM (Friday) and sleep till 12:00 AM (Saturday). Then work till 8:00 PM (Saturday) and sleep till 4:00 AM (Sunday). Work till 12:00 AM (Monday) and sleep till 8:00 AM (Monday). On Monday get ready and reach office at 9:00 AM and carry on with the same schedule.

Why? To obtain normal 8 hours of sleep and still manage to work more.

How? A normal human being will have 7 cycles of 16 hours of work & 8 hours of sleep.

He used to have 6 cycles of 20 hours of work & 8 hours of sleep. He therefore converted 8 hours of sleep to work.

Smart…ain’t he but crazy…

Cheers ;)
